It was my pleasure to work with Jaylene for one month at Living Light Culinary Arts Institute where she trained to be a chef and Instructor. I found her to be a dedicated student who is very knowledgable and thorough. She is a strong woman who is dedicated to helping her family stay healthy through a raw foods diet. I highly recommend Jaylene as a Chef and Instrutor.

I loved the classes! As a mother of young children, it was so great to spend an evening with Jaylene, learning of ways to improve my family's health. Not only did I leave with a wealth of knowledge, but also a belly full of tasty food and a desire to get home to practice and share what I learned. I haven't been able to go completely raw (yet), but I have incorporated many of her recipes into our diet. My favorite? The Coleslaw. We have it at least twice a week.

Thank you for providing such a needed service to our community. It recharges my raw food battery when I come to your home and see all the wonderful living food and how you prepare it.

Jaylene's "Forget Cooking" class was a wealth of information. She radiates as she shares with the class her love for raw foods. The recipes were fun and duplicatable. My favorite part was the food and tasting! It was helpful to see if I liked the recipes and, later, to compare with mine as I try to make them.
Thank you, Jaylene! I look forward to attending more of your classes!

I love learning from Jaylene. She is so knowledgeable and explains living foods so well. The information helped me understand how important it is for my body to incorporate living foods. I love that all the recipes were demonstrated as I am a visual learner. The tasting part was truly a treat! It is worth every minute and every dollar to attend her classes.

I loved attending Jaylene's living food classes so much that I took them twice! There is so much valuable nutritonal information its like taking a college course. Watching Jaylene prepare the dishes with such beautiful presentation is inspiring! And you come away with a binder full of recipes and resources. See for yourself!

After attending Jaylene's classes, I come home and try the recipes on my husband. It's so common to hear him say, "This is good. This is REALLY good!" We have both gained a lot of confidence in Jaylene's style of "cooking", and its great to know that food can't get healthier than this.
-Valene Contour (Idaho Falls, Idaho)
It was so motivating to go to Jaylene's classes. She embodies the best of anyone's goals with raw food. Energetic, trim, toned and healthy, she is motivating just to look at! But it goes beyond appearances. Jaylene's skill in taking ordinary foods and turning them into the most delicious fare is legendary. Each time we went, we were amazed at the variety of recipes presented. There was nothing that I didn't like, and most things were better than any cooked food I could think of. Just when I was about to give up on raw food, Jaylene would serve up more inspiration. She's a national treasure.

I have taken quite a few of Jaylene's classes and learned and enjoyed every one of them. I knew that I needed to make a lifestyle change. I had looked into the raw lifestyle, but it seemed too confusing. Where do I start, how do I start? I read and knew of the amazing benefits of a raw lifestyle, but how was always at the back of my mind, so I never did it. When I heard of Jaylene's classes, I decided to give it a try. I could not believe how simple and fun it could be. Jaylene presented it in a way that you wanted to run home and try it out. Me and my daughter have been having fun and learning and living the raw food lifestyle ever since. Jaylene is the raw food guru!!!
-Jan Argyle (Salt Lake City, Utah)
Although the first time I went to Jaylene's class was 5 years ago, I can still remember how wonderful the food was. I used to think that raw food was just salads and relish trays, but going to her class made me realize that it is a whole new world. It is the most delicious food I have ever tasted. I have incorporated many of the recipes into our diets and still eat them today. I hope to be able to go to more of Jaylene's classes, and eventually, to eat completely like Jaylene. In all that I have learned about the positive qualities of raw food, it really makes sense to me to say "yes" to raw food and "no" to cooked. Jaylene is truly an inspiration and example to me, and her passion for raw organic food has inspired me with that same passion.

It all makes perfect sense and my senses thought it was all perfect.

I was amazed at the way the food tasted. I never would have thought that food that wasn’t cooked could be so good.
