http://www.jjvitalityfood.com/use_images/allamerican1.jpg Janice and Emily are checking out the 'previous- toy- closet -turning- into-VITALITY FOOD STORE' after class.  This 'store- in- creation' allows for convenience of purchasing supplies needed to create 'living food' cuisine.
Amazing people attend these classes.  I am in awe at the knowledge and experience everyone brings to class.  We feel honored to have these ExtraOrdinary people in our home!!! http://www.jjvitalityfood.com/use_images/allamerican10.jpg

The Pleasure Trap, part one was the title of the power point presented with this class. Part one covered the first part of our motivational triad, which is 'seeking pleasure'. The power point presentations add to our understanding and knowledge of the importance of making healthy food and lifestyle choices.  We can choose to allow health to happen in our lives.  Doug graham says, "Health is the natural state of all life on earth."

We often think of picnics, bar-b-ques, and 'burgers' when we think of All American food.  We demonstrated and tasted some amazing food....chocolate milkshakes, burgers, salads, mock sour cream and chive dip, hot fudge sundaes, peach cobbler, delicious , chocolate truffles, and many other recipes that pleased the palette. http://www.jjvitalityfood.com/use_images/allamerican12.jpg
http://www.jjvitalityfood.com/use_images/allamerican13.jpg This very delicious mock sour cream and chive dip can be served with fresh veggies, or crunchy crackers.
Fruit flower bouquets catch the eye and are fun to eat.  It is a unique way to serve your fruit. Just pick a 'pick' from the pot and ENJOY. http://www.jjvitalityfood.com/use_images/allamerican14.jpg
http://www.jjvitalityfood.com/use_images/allamerican15.jpg The eye is actually the first to feast on the food.  Any salad looks better with a tomato rose on top.  These simple plating techniques add interest and appeal to the meal.

Sheila and Jaylene share a hug before Sheila leaves for home after class.  Notice the sample boxes of goodies that get to be taken home to be enjoyed after  the stomach makes room for more...or to share with 'those that matter'.

http://www.jjvitalityfood.com/use_images/allamerican3.jpg The All American class is actually a very hearty menu.  The table was prepared so that when class was over, everyone could enjoy the food, or choose which foods to take home in their personalized 'doggie bags" to share or  to enjoy later.

What a team!  Evan and Jaylene are running the frozen bananas through the juicer to make a very creamy banana 'ice cream' that seems to be loved by all!

Bananas seem to be some of the original FAST FOOD.  The banana is not only one of the neatest and most conveniently packaged food items, but is also a powerhouse of nutritional energy!

Chocolate dipped, frozen bananas-on-a-stick make a delicious and easy treat.  The banana ice cream is covered with a chocolate drizzle and topped with a raspberry for a very tasty, yet healthy treat.  This 'creamy' ice cream can fool even the greatest ice cream lover.

'Chef' Kelsi cleans out the vita-mix to clean every last bit of the mock sour cream dip out of the blender before serving it in one of the fun star shaped, all American serving bowls. http://www.jjvitalityfood.com/use_images/allamerican6.jpg

Jaylene is demonstrating the preparation of the garden burgers.  These garden burgers can even be frozen after the dehydration process for spur-of-the-moment 'burger cravings'. Many 'condiments' such as bar-b-que sauces, mustard, ketchup, mayonaise, were all taught right along with the burgers.  Together with all the vegetable toppings, this makes a 'family favorite' meal.

Many questions are answered as the preparation of many recipes are demonstrated in order to visually see how things are put together.  Learning any new cuisine creates a little bit of a learning curve.  Recipes are so much easier to use when the steps are shown and the results are tasted! http://www.jjvitalityfood.com/use_images/allamerican8.jpg

The table was full and it looked like a FEAST! Food really is FUN...and such a gift.

Food DOES become us (we are what we absorb)...so it makes sense to choose that food that will help us to be our best selves.
